Meaghan Sheridan Almon

Hi, I’m Meaghan! I am originally from upstate New York and moved to the city when I was 18 to study Musical Theatre at Manhattan School of Music. I am a recent graduate and very excited for this next chapter! I have been singing and dancing since I was three and hope to spend my whole life in the theatre! Some things I love outside of musical theatre are baking, going to hockey games, and exploring the city!

Musical theatre has given me some of my favorite people and best memories. Since graduating, I’ve had wonderful opportunities to perform for audiences with free, accessible seating, traveled to new states, and learned even more beyond school. This summer, I will be performing in Oklahoma! at Playhouse Stage Company for audiences of people who may not otherwise be able to afford a ticket to a musical, which is a great reminder of how special and important theatre is. I am excited to see where this industry take me next!

When I’m between contracts, I teach dance to students from ages three to seventeen. It brings me so much joy to pass along what I have learned and share my love for dance with kids who are discovering their own passion for it. Dance was my introduction to musical theatre and I hope to inspire my students to explore even more art forms.
